*ASTM testing indicates that when buried in a microbial landfill, the polypropylene in this product will biodegrade in two to five years. Because of the wide variation in landfill systems, actual timing may vary. Incidental parts (plastic locking closure and carrying handle) are not expected to biodegrade.
